Meat Raffles

For a distinctly Minnesotan experience, try your luck at a good old-fashioned meat raffle!

A meat raffle is exactly what you might think – you buy a ticket for a chance to win fresh meat.  It’s also a form of charitable gambling with the proceeds going to a variety of organizations, from veterans’ programs to youth hockey and soccer teams.

How does it work? There are usually several rounds. During each round, a limited number of tickets are sold, usually for a dollar apiece. A number caller spins a wheel and announces the winning number. If you win, just show your ticket and claim your tasty meat prize.

All types of meat are raffled off.
