Your game show host will lead you through classic games such as Friendly Feud, Wheel of Phrases, and Name That Price. Or go primetime and play Minute Games, Matchup, and Friendly Feud. Park Tavern Bowling & Entertainment Center
A local favorite for nearly 60 years, the Park Tavern is the perfect family hangout, with twenty lanes of bowling, arcade games and dart boards. Hungry bowlers can take advantage of the full-service restaurant and bar, which offers a comprehensive menu complete with freshly-made pizza, killer tator tots, and vegan and gluten-free options. Pavek Museum
The Pavek is home to one of the world’s most significant collections of vintage radio and television equipment. A favorite of schoolchildren, visitors can learn about the history of electronic communication and the science of electromagnetism and sound. Their unique collection includes items such as a Philco Mystery Control Radio, Theremin, Magnetaphon, and a Spark Gap Generator. The museum is also home to the Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame.
St. Louis Park Aquatic Park
Nothing says summer like hanging out at the local pool! The Aquatic Park offers 20,000 sq. ft. of fun. It features a “wade-in” water playground, two four-story water slides, drop slides, a diving area, lap swim lanes, a sand & water play area, concessions and more. A great way to keep cool on a hot day!
3rd Lair Indoor SkatePark & SkateShop
Although you can’t catch big waves here, you can catch some big air. Skateboarding has been around since the late 40s/early 50s, and 3rd Lair Indoor Skatepark is the best indoor skateboarding park in the Twin Cities. Rent a board (plus helmet and pad) and try out your moves. Or hit the streets at Carpenter Park, an all-concrete outdoor skate park designed with stairs, rails, a mini half-pipe and more.
