1. Brookview
Your guests will delight in Brookview’s spectacular views, modern aesthetic and mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. Have your ceremony on the Fairway Deck, then watch the sun set over the ponds and fairways of the golf course as your guests congregate in the Bassett Creek Room for the reception. Brookview’s preferred caterers will work with you to develop a menu of culinary delights that are just right for your event. Catering options include: CRAVE, Green Mill, Mintahoe, Pickles Catering, and Three One Six Bar + Grill (the onsite restaurant). 2. Golden Valley Country Club
The historic Golden Valley Country Clubwas established in 1914. This private club features a golf course designed by A.W. Tillinghast and an elegantly decorated clubhouse overlooking the 18th hole. Known for its exceptional cuisine, it is a premier facility for weddings, receptions and other events. Experience 60,000 sq. ft. of floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed wood-framed beams, sprawling vaulted ceilings, majestic gabled roof lines and state-of-the-art technology. Your guests will enjoy an exceptional 4-star culinary experience featuring dishes made with the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients. GoldeN Valley Country Club can accommodate weddings up to 500 and you do not need to be a member to reserve this facility.
3. Metropolitan Ballroom & Clubroom
This award-winning every facility has been carefully crafted to accommodate endless possibilities and is capable of hosting groups of 20 up to 1,150! Known for its sophisticated luxury, the Metropolitan features polished wood floors with oriental rugs, period chandeliers and hand-painted tapestries. An ornate stage and built-in dance floor, complete with sound and lighting systems adds a high-tech appeal to the dramatic setting. D’Amico Catering will provide award-winning, inspired cuisine for you reception. Their chefs infuse fresh global influences into every meal and menu. The Metropolitan offers the ultimate in elegance.
4. Minneapolis Golf Club
This award-winning every facility has been carefully crafted to accommodate endless possibilities and is capable of hosting groups of 20 up to 1,150! 5. The Rec Center
The Rec Center is the ultimate community gathering space, featuring two indoor ice arenas, an outdoor Aquatic Park and the ROC. It also boasts a Banquet Room that overlooks scenic Wolfe Park and the Aquatic Park. The Banquet Room can accommodate wedding receptions of up to 160 guests. A smaller Gallery Room, which accommodates up to 50, is perfect for hosting bridal showers and gift openings.
6. The Recreation Outdoor Center (ROC)
The ROC is a multi-use, covered outdoor recreational facility. In winter, it’s an outdoor ice rink. But May through October, the rink gives way to a dry, concrete floor that’s capable of hosting up to 700 guests for weddings and receptions. Parking is plentiful and catering is available for a variety of preferred vendors.
7. The Trailhead
Located in the heart of Theodore Wirth Regional Park, The Trailhead is the perfect spot for nature lovers. It’s been featured in Minnesota Bride and was named “one of Minneapolis’ most unique wedding venues” by Lavender Magazine. The park provides the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. Indoors, the Great Hall offers reception space for up to 280 and features Douglas Fir beam structures and ceilings, custom wood tables and two walls of windows. An outdoor patio with an adjacent grass lawn is the perfect place for outdoor games to keep your guests entertained.
8. Warehouse Winery
Warehouse Winery is an authentic, working private winery and event center located in the heart of St. Louis Park’s warehouse district. The winery is a hidden gem that will leave your guests raving. Designed by the winemaker himself, it features large open spaces, eclectic industrial décor and a relaxed atmosphere. Brides and bridesmaids will delight in having a dedicated space to get ready, while groomsmen will enjoy the cozy lounge seating. There’s even a pool table! It’s the perfect place for your wedding and/or reception. The winery has partnered with Sterling Catering, Green Mill Catering, Deco Catering and Kafé 421 to offer you the finest dining options. It can accommodate up to 150 guests seated.
9. Westwood Hills Nature Center
Westwood Hills Nature Center is a 160-acre natural area featuring marsh, woods and restored prairie. The preserve is beautiful throughout the seasons and provides homes for many animals, including deer, turtles, fox, mink and owls. The newly constructed Interpretive Center is home to a multipurpose space that is perfect for wedding receptions of up to 130 guests and features an outdoor patio with gorgeous views of the surrounding woodlands. Within the Nature Center, you’ll find a waterfall observation deck and an outdoor water garden – the perfect scenic locations for a small outdoor wedding or wedding photo shoot.
