Milly Valley Kitchen (MVK) is the shared passion of husband-and-wife team Mike and Abby Rakun and their desire to prepare food that is both nourishing and delicious. The restaurant is a tribute to the Mill Valley Region of Northern California, a community known for its thoughtfully crafted food and credited with the birth of the Slow Food movement and sustainable farming. MVK serves locally sourced, farm-to-table food in a cozy, fine dining atmosphere. They also have a lovely outdoor patio.
MVK utilizes sustainable and locally sourced meats, produce and the finest seafoods. The focus is fresh, feel-good food.  They always have a variety of options to accommodate special dietary needs, such as gluten-free, vegan and other allergy or dietary restrictions. Their lunch menu includes a variety of sandwiches, salads and flatbreads. Menus change seasonally and feature entrées such as seared salmon, pot roast, and scallop cioppino. They offer a fantastic variety of wine, with over 70 selections, and an emphasis on the vineyards of California’s Napa Valley and Sonoma County, as well as local tap beers and signature cocktails. Non-alcoholic options include house made ginger beer and kombucha on tap.
MVK’s cozy private dining room is the ideal setting for corporate dinners, family get togethers, graduation parties, bridal and baby showers and other groups of up to 18 people. They offer a la carte dining, as well as prix fixe menus of the host’s choice. The restaurant is also available for full or partial buyouts for larger events, such as weddings, receptions and rehearsal dinners. For more information, call 952-358-2000.
They offer both lunch and dinner catering. Choose buffet style favorites like the Miso Glaze Seabass or the Herb Roasted Chicken with farro risotto. Or place an order of boxed lunches. Whatever your needs, they have an option for you.
