Pickleball is the hottest new racquet sport. What’s pickleball? It’s a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It’s played on a badminton-sized court with a slightly lower tennis net that’s 34” tall at the center. Players use a wooden paddle and plastic ball with holes in it (similar to a whiffle ball). Pickleball can be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels. Although it’s easy to learn, it can quickly become a fast-paced, competitive game for more experienced players.

Pickleball courts can be found in St. Louis Park at:

  • Bass Lake Preserve – 2 courts
  • Wolfe Park – 5 courts

Courts can be rented for a fee, April through October. Call 952-924-2540 to reserve a court.
