Marcus West End Cinema

The West End Cinema is THE place to watch a movie. This 16-screen theater features stadium seating and the latest in cinematic digital sight and sound. They proudly offer restaurant-quality food and beverages for in-theatre dining. Splurge on VIP seating and watch your movie in style as you put your feet up and sink back into a luxurious recliner.

Twin Cities Film Fest

Q & A session at the film fest

Every October, the West End comes alive with movie magic as filmmakers and film afficionados alike descend upon the area for the Twin Cities Film Fest, an 11-day celebration of independent and Minnesota-made film. The West End Cinema plays host, screening over 120 short and feature-length movies, from documentaries to dramas. Passersby may even spot a celebrity or two!

Movies in the Park

Both St. Louis Park and Golden Valley offer special “Movies in the Park” throughout the year. Perfect for families, these free events feature popular movies shown on a giant inflatable screen. In Golden Valley, movies take place at Brookview Park. In St. Louis Park, movies are shown at the ROC. Bring blankets and chairs and lots of snacks and settle in for an evening of fun!  Movie dates/times will be posted on our Events Calendar.
