Fired Up Studios
Have you always wanted to re-create the famous scene from Ghost? We can’t promise you’ll be haunted, but you will have fun when you try a “Clay Date” at Fired Up Studios, a space for clay artists and potters of all levels to explore their creativity. During a clay date, you’ll get to take a pottery wheel for a spin and get your hands dirty while Fired Up’s instructors help you make your own unique pot. They provide all the tools, buckets and towels you need for the class, and they’ll finish and fire your pot with the glaze of your choice. Perfect for couples, friends or small groups.

Skylab Glass Arts
Get in touch with your inner artist at Skylab Glass Arts, a hip new lampworking and glass arts facility in Golden Valley. What is lampworking? It’s a method of glassblowing using a fix mounted torch to melt and manipulate glass into a desired form. Don a pair of safety glasses, step up to a torch and learn to shape colored glass into beautiful pendants, wine stoppers, drinking straws, and more. Class participants get to keep their creations, so you’ll come home with a beautiful handmade souvenir.
