Twin Cities Film Fest
The Twin Cities Film Fest (TCFF) is a 10-day celebration of independent and Minnesota-made films. The festival is a hybrid event with over 150 films screened in person at the Marcus West End Cinema in St. Louis Park, at the Edina Mann Theatre and online.
TCFF features the best of American independent films along with studio films, offering thought-provoking documentaries, award-winning narratives and a wide array of short films. Plus, approximately one third of the films have Minnesota connections!
The Fest includes the following special film series:
- Her Series – Films by/for/about women to ignite and spread women empowerment
- Changemaker Series – Films spotlighting a particular topic in the world; this year the topic is domestic trauma
- Empower Series – Films featuring BIPOC filmmakers, stories and voices
- OUT Series – Films highlighting LGBTQ+ filmmakers, stories and voices
- Code Red – Films devoted to addressing climate change, specifically emotionally eye-opening documentaries
- Black on Screen – Films by Black filmmakers that tell the powerful stories of Black lives, celebrating culture and identity, and highlighting triumphs and challenges
- MN-Connected – Films with strong Minnesota ties — whether filmed in the state, produced or directed by a Minnesotan or featuring a Minnesotan in a lead role
- Studio – Award-winning contenders and highly anticipated releases from major studios before they hit theaters
TCFF also hosts red carpet interviews and photos, Q&A sessions, free educational sessions/panels, and parties.
Tickets to in-person films range from $15-30. Silver, Gold and Platinum multi-movie passes are also available. Individual streaming films are $10 or you can purchase an All-Access Streaming Pass for $60. A number of films will be available for free.
