Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Weekend of Service
Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy at Sweet Potato Comfort Pie’s 10th Annual Holiday of Service.
Doors open at 1:15 PM, and a lively preshow reception begins at 1:30 PM.
This milestone event is designed to unite our community through audience-engaged conversations, enjoying soulful musical talents, and uplifting each other through the pain of a divided country.
Featuring:
- An auction of unique items.
- 96 Sweet Potato Pies, to be given to those YOU determine deserve them most.
- Renowned Vocalist Jamela Pettiford and the GQ Unit will perform to inspire the audience with her soulful melodies.
- Saxophonist Jerome Richardson will captivate us all with his exceptional artistry.
- Heart and Soul Drum Academy, led by Baba Jesse Buckner, delivers rhythms that unite us.
