City of Lakes Loppet Winter Festival

A 2-day urban ski festival held at Theodore Wirth Regional Park in Golden Valley and the Chain of Lakes. It features a variety of point-to-point Cross-Country Ski Loppets, Fat-Tire Bike Loppets, and Skijor Loppets, as well as the Snowshoe Loppet. There are aĀ number of unique events, such as theĀ Next Generation Loppet and theĀ very Minnesotan Captain Kenā€™s Kubb Tournament. There are both competitive races and non-competitive touring events for the entire family. Hang out at the Utepils Beer Garden & Festival Village! A Luminary Loppet, the most magical night of winter, will be held onĀ  February 8, and also serves as a fundraiser for The Loppet Foundation.Ā  Learn more.
