A Passion for Wine & Events

Billy Smith had a vision, which soon morphed into a passion when he planted over 400 cold climate Marquette grape vines in his front yard! With the help of family and friends, he was soon crushing and fermenting locally grown cold climate grapes with the best Northern California grapes he could buy. He turned experimentation and time into high quality red wines – and a few whites. He then used his love of eclectic décor to turn his warehouse into a premier event center for weddings and gatherings of all types.

The Winery

Located in St. Louis Park’s unofficial “Distillery District,” Warehouse Winery hosts unforgettable events that leave a lasting impression. It offers a unique event destination with an inviting atmosphere and artistic-industrial design enriched with eclectic, playful décor. Whether you’re hosting a special event, or looking to enjoy their monthly Wine Down Wednesday to taste some wine – you’ll appreciate the relaxed atmosphere.

The Wine

Winemaker Billy Smith combines Marquette cold climate grapes with some of the best Northern California grapes to produce cabernet sauvignon, frontenac, syrah, merlot, zinfandel and a wide variety of red blends, as well as a few whites.

Tastings

On the last Wednesday of the month, the winery hosts Wine Down Wednesdays from 6 – 9 pm. Guests enjoy up to 5 wines plus a full glass of their favorite, light appetizers and live entertainment. Cost: $20 per person at the door.

Event Space

With large open spaces, eclectic décor and a relaxed atmosphere, Warehouse Winery is the perfect venue for weddings, parties and corporate events. The space accommodates up to 150 seated and 200 standing. The winery has partnered with Sterling Catering, Green Mill Catering, Deco Catering and Kafé 421 to provide the finest services for parties and events of all sizes.
