Brookview
In winter, Brookview maintains a one-mile, multi-use, natural snow recreational trail that meanders through the golf course. With gentle hills and solar LED lights, it’s an excellent spot to go for a ride. The trail opens when snow conditions are appropriate and is maintained through late February.
Theodore Wirth Regional Park
The Loppet Foundation grooms and maintains three singletrack fat-tire biking and snowshoeing trails in North Wirth: Area 36 (2.5 miles, easy), 45 North (1.5 miles, intermediate) and Conundrum (1.25 miles, advanced). Additional fat biking trails are managed by Minnesota Off Road Cyclists (MORC), these include the North Loop (Back 40) (3.5 miles), South Loop (.66 miles), Glenwood Spur (1 mile), Southwest Loop (1.9 miles, intermediate) and Brownie Lake Loop (1.5 miles, intermediate to extreme).
Curious about the trails? Check out the fat tire bike and snowshoe trails map.
Biking is allowed on paved and plowed bike paths or on designated mountain bike trails. Please do not ride in the Eloise Butler section of trails (Southeast Wirth) or on any groomed ski trails.
