Oak Hill Park is located on the west side of St. Louis Park. Oak Hill is one of the most popular places to be in the summer because of the many activities and facilities to use. The park offers softball diamonds, basketball courts, and trails for those who want to be active. Young children will love cooling off at the Splash Pad! In the winter months, you can find a large sliding area and lighted skating rink for public use.

Oak Hill is also a great place to relax and have a picnic with the many tables and shelters located throughout the park. A playground provides great entertainment for both young and old

Picnic Shelters & Park Building

Open-air shelters can accommodate groups of varying sizes. They offer access to electricity, free WiFi, outdoor grills and picnic tables. Oak Hill Park’s Main Picnic Shelter can accommodate groups of 50-100, while the Central Picnic Shelter is perfect for groups of 20-50.

The Oak Hill Park Building is fully enclosed and has an indoor restroom, tables and chairs. There is also an indoor fireplace. The building can accommodate groups of 20-50.

Off-street parking is avaliable.

Park buildings and shelters may be reserved for a fee. A permit is required for live bands or amplified music. Renters are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages into any park.

Oak Hill Splash Pad

The 2,350-square-foot Splash Pad lets kids activate bubbling hoses, water nozzles and sprinkler arches. Just wave your hand over the sensor bollard and get ready to get wet! It’s the equivalent of running through the sprinkler on a grand scale. Perfect for families with younger children.

Parents should always accompany and supervise children. Rubber-soled water shows are strongly recommended.

The Splash Pad is typically open from June to Labor Day (weather dependent).

Hours of operation are: Daily, 10 am – 8 pm.
