Brookview Park is Golden Valley’s largest park, encompassing 33 acres. The park caters to all ages and is the home of numerous events, including the Golden Valley Pride Festival.

Concerts in the Park take place every Monday, July through August.

The park has lighted walkways and trails, playgrounds, game squares, 2 pavilions, a gazebo and 3 grills.

It also has a basketball court, 2 sand volleyball courts and 6 tennis courts, 4 of which are lighted. Tennis courts may be reserved for a fee.

There are 123 off-street parking stalls for visitors.

Park Facilities

Brookview Park’s Large Pavilion is located toward the center of the park. It features 15 picnic tables, two parking lots, three charcoal grills, restrooms, a fireplace, running water and 16 electrical outlets. It can accommodate up to 100 guests.

The Small Pavilion is located on the north end of the park. It has 10 picnic tables, three charcoal grills, 6 electrical outlets and a parking lot. If can accommodate up to 50 guests.

The Gazebo includes 4 picnic tables and can accommodate up to 32 guests.

Pavilion reservations can be made online, in-person at Brookview, or by mail (PDF). Facilities are reserveable from May 1 through the beginning of October. Choose 11 am – 4 pm or 5 – 10 pm.
