Upcoming concerts at U.S. Bank Stadium, Target Center and Target Field include: Metallica, Zach Bryan, Blink-182, Cage The Elephant, Twenty One Pilots, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Def Leppard & Journey, Sabrina Carpenter and Usher. The Armory and First Avenue are also killer music venues that are nearby. Catch a show by Ice Spice, Avril Lavigne, Conan Gray, Gracie Abrams, Brad Paisley and Yung Gravy to name just a few.
Or travel slightly further east to St. Paul and the Xcel Energy Center for performances from Hozier, Rob Zombie & Alice Cooper, Weezer, Jeff Lynne’s ELO, P!nk, Iron Maiden, Billie Eilish and so many others. St. Louis Park Rotary Club Summer Concert Series
The City of St. Louis Park partners with the St. Louis Park Rotary Club each summer to present the Summer Concert Series. Concerts are typically held on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm at Veterans’ Memorial Amphitheatre in Wolfe Park. Bring a blanket or chair to sit on and enjoy a lovely summer evening outside listening to some amazing talent. All performances are free and family-friendly. The concerts feature a variety of genres, including rock and roll, blues, soul, Latin dance music, reggae and more. Previous performers include: The Castaways, Los Rebeldes, American Bootleg, Sons of Groove, and Salsa del Soul.
Two special Saturday evening concerts are offered each year: the country stylings of Jeff Dayton and a folk festival with Dan Israel and Friends.
Kids Summer Concert Series
Each summer, enjoy free kid’s entertainment at Veterans’ Memorial Amphitheatre in Wolfe Park. Bring a blanket and enjoy some summertime tunes, then stay to play on the playground, enjoy lunch in the park or swim at the Aquatic Park! Shows are held Wednesdays from 10 – 11 am, mid-June through August. Shows vary in length from 45 minutes to one hour. Performances are not covered; shades, hats and umbrellas are recommended. Previous musical acts include: Kidpower with Rachael, Tricia and the Toonies, Sticks & Tones, Jolly Pops, Teddy Band Bear and more.
Open Mic Night
On Thursday evenings in the summer, St. Louis Park hosts Open Mic Nights to support local artists and groups who are looking for an opportunity to get their name out there and perform for the public. Performances are held from 7 – 8 pm at Veterans’ Memorial Amphitheatre in Wolfe Park. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, dinner or snacks, and enjoy some of the freshest entertainment around. Open Mic Night is suitable for all ages.
Concerts in the Park
The City of Golden Valley hosts Concerts in the Park at Brookview Park all summer long! The concerts are held on Mondays at 7 pm. Most bands perform at the gazebo, but a few larger groups perform at the large pavilion. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a variety of musical stylings, including 60’s rock, Latin dance music, big band, swing, world music and more. Previous performers include the Percolators, Pan Handlers Steel Drum Band, Salsa del Soul, Capri Big Band, and The 1st John Philip Sousa Memorial Band.
Mill Valley Market
This hip and healthy eatery located at The Trailhead in Theodore Wirth Regional Park has a spacious outdoor patio that typically hosts live music on Friday nights from 5:30 – 8 pm. Live music happens each spring, summer, and fall, with occasional live music in the winter, too. Previous bands performing at Mill Valley Market include: The Vibro Champs, The Finn Band, Heavy for the Hawk, Lolo’s Ghost with Bleek & Grimm, One Hit Wonders, and other local favorites. Grab a seat on the patio, order a pint or a glass of wine and enjoy some cool tunes in the midst of nature!

Park Tavern
When the weather is nice, the Park Tavern hosts live music on their patio every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night from 5:30 – 8 pm. Bands that frequently appear include: Small Town Radio, The Teddy Holidays, Ragtown, The Swamp Kings, Cabin String Band, Scottie Devlin, Liam Gerard, Colby Straka and many others.

Schullers Tavern
Enjoy some of the finest live music in a roadhouse-style setting at Schullers Tavern. Live bands perform every Saturday night, October through April.
Three One Six Bar + Grill
Enjoy live “Music on the Patio” once a month from 6-8 pm, June, July and August. After a round of golf or game of lawn bowling, kick back on Three One Six’s expansive patio for a relaxing dinner with sweeping views of the golf course while you enjoy tunes from a local band.
