St. Louis Park Parktacular
The St. Louis Park Parktacular is a multi-day celebration designed to encourage a spirit of pride and a sense of community among residents and visitors. The Parktacular is comprised of a number of fun events, including:
- “Splash into Summer” Pool Party – Friday, June 14, 5 – 8 pm
- Grand Day Parade – Saturday, June 15, 12 – 2 pm
- Business Expo – Saturday, June 175, 1:30 – 6 pm
- Kidtacular – Saturday, June 15, 1:30 – 6 pm
- Enjoy juggling demonstrations, a fishing clinic, music and more.
- Ecotacular – Saturday, June 15, 11 am – 3 pm
- Tommy’s School of Fishing – Saturday, June 15, 12 – 4 pm
- Food Trucks – Saturday, June 15, 12 – 9 pm
- Taco Libre, Parrillas Express, The Wienie Wagon and Soft Serve Ice Cream
- Rock the Park Concert in Wolfe Park – Saturday, June 15, 6 – 9:30 pm
- Band: Jacuzzi Puma
- Miniature Art Hunt – Starts June 4 and runs until all are found. This year’s theme is Flowers.
- Juneteenth at the ROC – Sunday, June 16, 1 – 4 pm
Most events are held at Wolfe Park. The pool party is held at the SLP Aquatic Park. The Juneteenth celebration is held at the ROC.
The coronation of the new SLP Parktacular Ambassadors will take place on Tuesday, June 2018, at 6:30 pm at the Rec Center Banquet Room.
